This Peppa of 30 cm talks, sings and dances. She wears a sparkly skirt with stars and yellow rain boots, and the flower button on her body brings up more than 55 sounds, phrases and responses.
The boots decide what happens. Leave them on and Peppa is in muddy-puddle mode: muddy sound effects, the muddy puddle song and a musical freeze-dance game. Pull them off and she switches to party mode, with party sounds, the Peppa Pig theme tune and a play-along game.
She also responds to sounds children make themselves, so the play goes back and forth instead of being a button that goes off. The doll is 30 cm tall. The 4 AA batteries are included, so she works straight out of the wrapping. Hasbro gives her from 3 years.
A present for a preschooler who follows the series: big enough to carry around, and with two modes taking turns there is more to discover than with an ordinary figure.
