The HTI Peppa Pig shape sorter picnic basket is a toy basket with a lid full of shaped holes, inspired by a picnic with Peppa Pig. Inside are six coloured play-food pieces printed with fruit, ice cream or a sandwich, each shaped to fit only one opening.
Your child learns to recognise the pieces by shape and colour and push each one through the matching hole in the basket. Peppa Pig herself sits on the side of the basket, and there's a sun button on the handle: pressing it plays the Peppa Pig theme tune along with a fun sound. This turns sorting into a game built around sound and recognition.
The basket has a small carry handle, just like a real picnic basket, and the six play pieces fit back inside along with the lid. The sound feature needs 2 AAA batteries (not included).
A fun gift for a toddler from 12 months who is just starting to recognise and sort shapes.
