Dino Volcano Land from PlayGo is a prehistoric landscape in plastic. In the middle stands a volcano rock with a slide down one flank and a cave underneath. Around it lie a water pool, palm fronds, ferns, flowers, eggs and a red shelter.
The box counts 20 pieces and states 4 sounds. The packaging puts it this way: you hear the volcano erupting and the dinosaurs roaring, and you have to watch out for the rockslide. The dinosaurs themselves are sturdy and rounded, in bright green, blue, pink, purple, orange and yellow.
For a toddler this is mostly about moving things and copying: putting the dinosaurs up the mountain, letting them go down the slide, having them drink at the water and sleep in the cave. The pieces stand loose from one another, so the landscape looks different every time.
PlayGo prints 18m+ on the box. A present for a child who has just discovered dinosaurs, does not know the names yet, but drags them around the house all day.
