This drawing board from baby Clementoni combines a magnetic writing surface with a row of play buttons. It comes with an ergonomic pen, thick enough for a toddler's fist, and three removable shapes to trace. Whatever has been drawn is wiped away with the slider in a single movement.
The board sits in two positions: flat on the floor or sloped, like a little desk. Along the top are buttons showing animals and a musical note; they play tunes and sounds. A bear in glasses looks on from the side.
A child of this age does not draw shapes yet but scribbles, wipes and scribbles again, and that is what this board is made for. The stencils come into their own later, once following a line works. The board needs batteries for the sound.
The box states 18+ months. The packaging measures 48.1 x 37.8 x 8.5 cm: a large but flat parcel to wrap.
