The Viper from the EVO range by HTI Toys is a stunt scooter in one piece: no hinge, no folding mechanism, just a steel deck with a fixed bar on top. This colourway is black with red grips, a red clamp and red wheel cores, and carries the EVO logo on the bar and on the deck.
Underneath sit two 100 mm PU wheels on ABEC-7 bearings. The grips are TPR, the soft rubbery material you find on most stunt scooters, and at the back there is a brake you work with your foot. The triple-bolt clamp holds bar and fork together.
The bar stands at 80 cm. The fork spins freely, so a 360 does not snag on a cable or a brake - which is what separates it from an ordinary scooter for the ride to school.
Meant for riders trying their first tricks and then staying out to practise. Anyone already riding a stunt scooter recognises the build immediately; anyone starting out needs nothing extra to get going.
