This round saucer measures 56 cm across and is 7 cm high. On the seat there is a penguin in a green hat among the snowflakes, and beside it the name speed S - that is what Prosperplast calls the model.
Two handles are cut into the raised rim on opposite sides, to hold on to while you slide. The saucer is moulded in one piece from frost-resistant plastic, in blue.
A saucer rides differently from a sledge: it picks its own direction and turns on its axis on the way down, and that is exactly what children are after. It is also flat enough to carry back up the slope under one arm.
