The cover is built in two layers: an insulating layer that holds the heat in the water, under a waterproof outer layer of DuraPlus material that stands up to rain, sun and daily use.
There is a zip along the side. It lets you draw the cover over a clipped-on pump unit, or pass the hoses of a separate pump through, without disconnecting the spa first. The cover clips onto the tub, so it stays put in a strong wind.
