Chlorine or bromine tablets dissolve most evenly in a dispenser that drifts quietly across the surface. This one from Bestway has two touches you will not find on the ordinary models: it folds flat, and the lid is also a glove.
That lid, the ChemGuard, has a glove-shaped recess on its underside. You put your hand in, pick up the tablet with it and drop it into the holder without touching the tablet with bare fingers. The lid then closes with a two-step action.
Underneath you turn the openings wider or narrower, so the release matches the volume of your pool. The dispenser takes chlorine or bromine tablets up to 7.6 cm across. The tablets themselves are not in the pack - you buy those separately.
