With the V-Trap you vacuum the sediment off the bottom of your pool without your sand filter clogging up straight away. The vacuum head is weighted so that it keeps contact with the floor, and brushes on the underside loosen caked-on dirt. The clear pre-filter chamber catches leaves and insects before they reach your filter.
The set has everything you need to start: the V-TRAP head with pre-filter, an aluminium pole in six sections that together measure 240 cm, a flexible 6 metre suction hose with a diameter of 32 mm, connectors for 32 and 38 mm, and soft corner bumpers that spare the liner when you work along the wall.
The set runs off your pool's filter pump and needs a pump that moves at least 3,000 litres per hour. Kokido's guideline is round pools of 450 to 550 cm in diameter. The hose connection swivels, so the hose does not kink while you move back and forth.
Intended for anyone looking after an above-ground pool or a small in-ground one themselves. After vacuuming you rinse out the pre-filter chamber and pack the pole back down into six sections, which takes up a good deal less room than a fixed pole.
