Leaves that sink to the bottom cannot be lifted back out with a flat surface net. This Kokido rake therefore has a deep bag of fine mesh: you push it along the floor, the net holds coarse and fine dirt alike, and you lift the whole load out of the water in one movement.
The frame is sturdy plastic with rounded edges, so you can work right up against the wall. The packaging names the article in six languages - 'Leaf Rake', 'Epuisette de Fond', 'Bodenkescher' - and each time explicitly as a bottom net, not as the flat net for the water surface.
The fitting is a universal clip that fits Kokido poles and most standard pool poles. A telescopic pole is not supplied: if you already have one for your wall brush or your skimmer, this net simply clips onto it.
Handy as a second net alongside your surface skimmer, particularly in autumn or when there are trees around your pool. It saves you a lot of time with the vacuum.
