Didak Pool makes this round solar cover for pools of 4.27 metres across. The box reads 'Solar Pool Cover' with the icon 'fit round pool', 4.27 m, beneath it, and in English 'floating solar pool cover'.
The cover is blue insulating bubble film, 427 cm across. The film is full of small air pockets; according to Didak these catch the sun's heat and pass it on to the water underneath. The packaging shows this as a drawing, with a sun and arrows crossing the water surface.
Using it is a matter of rolling out and rolling up again. The cover floats by itself, so there is no tensioning or fastening to do. Lay it on the water when nobody is swimming and take it off before going into the pool.
Look at the diameter of your own pool before ordering: this is the size for 4.27 m. Other sizes exist for 3.05 m, 4.57 m and 4.88 m, and separate covers for rectangular and oval pools. The pool in the photo is scenery and is not part of the delivery.
