This round solar cover from Didak Pool measures 488 cm across and belongs to round pools of 4.88 metres. That is how the packaging has it too: 'Solar Pool Cover', with the icon 'fit round pool', 4.88 m, and along the bottom edge the English name 'floating solar pool cover'.
The film is blue and insulating, with small air pockets spread across the whole surface. Didak says of them that they catch the sun's heat and pass it on to the water; the box pictures this with a sun and arrows going through the water surface.
Lay the cover on the water when the pool is not in use and roll it off again before going in. It floats by itself, so fastening or tensioning is not needed. At this size it does roll out faster with two people.
Check the diameter of your own pool before ordering: this is the size for 4.88 m. Didak also carries the same cover for 3.05 m, 4.27 m and 4.57 m, and in rectangular and oval sizes. The pool itself is not part of this article.
