This self-floating solar cover belongs with the round Bestway pools of 549 cm: the Steel Pro MAX, the Power Steel and the Power Steel Swim Vista Series. The sheet measures 527 cm across and so lies just inside the rim, on the water itself.
The blue film is made of sturdy polyethylene with small air pockets. In sunshine the water underneath warms up faster; once the sun is gone, that same cover helps to hold the temperature longer. The surface is covered as well, so less leaf litter and dust blows into the pool.
No fastening is needed. You roll the cover out over the water when nobody is swimming and take it off again before the next time you get in. A carry bag with an insert sheet is included, for storing the sheet dry after the season.
For a pool of 549 cm this is the matching size. If your pool is smaller, look at the versions for 488 cm or 305 cm. Measure the diameter of your own pool before you order.
