The Funky is a two-line stunt kite with a delta sail 120 cm wide and 65 cm high, from the range of kite maker Didak. It is a good deal bigger than the smallest models in the same range.
You steer with two lines: one in each hand, and the kite follows whichever hand pulls hardest. That draws turns, figures of eight and dives in the air, and with some practice the sharp corners a stunt kite is built for.
The Funky comes in varying colour combinations. The photo shows three of them, but you receive one kite in an assorted colour - the colour you get is not fixed.
For the coast, a dyke or an open field, and a gift for anyone moving from an ordinary kite to something steerable.
