Plastic sand tools with a long handle, meant for outdoors: the beach, the sandpit, a corner of the garden. At the top is a D-shaped grip that a child's hand closes around; at the bottom is either a wide scoop or a rake head with curved teeth.
That long handle means a child digs standing up instead of crouching. It makes a difference when digging out a proper hole, when shovelling sand into a bucket, and when raking a stretch of beach smooth before a castle goes on it.
The item is packed one per net sleeve with a hang tag. The spade and the rake are the same design in two models, and the shop cannot guarantee which of the two is in the packet.
A simple beach item that travels easily to the sea or to the playground, and that costs little to replace.
