The Taiyo Metal Racer is a radio-controlled buggy at 1:18 scale. The side of the box sets out its features as pictograms: 6+, 1:18, 2.4 GHz, full function, working suspension and USB charging.
A round badge on the front reads 'INCLUDED - INCLUS - ENTHALTEN - INCLUIDOS' around a TAIYO 3.7 V lithium-ion battery pack and a USB lead: the car charges over USB, with no separate batteries needed for it. The transmitter has a pistol grip; the supplier states that it runs on 2 AA batteries of its own, and those are not included.
The body is metal - hence the name - and the car sits on chunky block-tread tyres with visible shock absorbers. The supplier gives the model as 21 x 14.5 x 9.5 cm. The box states 'from 6 years'.
The Metal Racer appears in several colours and is supplied assorted, so the version you receive may differ from the photo.
