Rastar makes radio controlled cars under official licence, and this red Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a fine example: the long bonnet, the wide grille with the star in it and the silver rims are modelled on the real coupé. On a 1:24 scale that works out at a length of about 19.5 cm.
With the handset your child drives the car forwards and backwards and steers it left and right. The size is practical: big enough to drive a course between the furniture indoors, small enough to take along to grandma's.
The car carries the Rastar article number 40100. AA batteries are needed for the car and for the handset; they are not in the box.
A gift for a child who loves cars, and at the same time something to put on show: thanks to the licence and the finish it simply looks good on a shelf too.
