Megalodon Storm is the radio-controlled version of the well-known Monster Jam truck with the shark head: a grey snout with a row of teeth, a tail fin at the back, and blue rims under chunky tyres. The scale is 1:15. The package includes the truck and the transmitter.
The packaging highlights its biggest claim right on the front of the card: it drives on water. Four other surfaces are also pictured, which the manufacturer states the truck can handle: dirt, rocks, snow and grass. That makes it a different kind of toy than a car that only rolls forward on a smooth indoor floor.
The truck charges via USB. The transmitter runs on two AAA batteries (LR03), which are not included. The card states an age recommendation of 4 years and up.
A substantial gift for a Monster Jam fan who would rather drive their trucks than push them by hand. Megalodon is one of the most recognisable vehicles in the series, even for those who only know the competition from TV.
