The Rastar R/C Volkswagen Beetle is a remote-controlled toy car at 1:24 scale, featuring an officially licensed Volkswagen design. What makes this model special is its UV Sensitive paint: in sunlight or under UV light, the pink colour of the body shifts to a different shade, and indoors the original colour returns.
The set includes the car and a matching remote control, so a child can drive the car while watching the colour change happen outdoors in the sun. Part of the fun is discovering the effect again and again by moving the car between indoors and outdoors.
The model is detailed after the real Volkswagen Beetle, with a glossy body and scale-style wheels. On the packaging it is presented as part of Rastar's UV Sensitive Collection.
Thanks to the combination of remote control and the surprise effect of the colour change, this is a fun gift for children who love toy cars and enjoy playing with a striking, changeable toy.
