Two occupations in one box: build first, then drive. The chassis with motor, receiver and wheels is ready to go; onto it you clip 318 building bricks to make a racing car at 1:20 scale. A sticker sheet supplies the racing numbers and the striping.
Then you pick up the transmitter. The car drives forwards and backwards, steers fully left and right and reaches up to 9 km/h. Thanks to 2.4 GHz, up to sixteen cars can run at the same time without interfering with each other, which only counts once there is more than one in the street.
The bricks are compatible with the usual clamping blocks. Anyone with a box of bricks at home can rebuild the bodywork into a car of their own without touching the chassis. The batteries are in the box, so there is no trip to the shop between building and driving.
Carrera states the Construction Racer from 8 years. A present for a child who likes screwing and clicking things together as much as steering them.
