This Playmobil Asterix playset (71268) lets kids re-enact the building of the palace and the fight over it, just like in the well-known Asterix adventure set in Egypt. The box includes Obelix, the architect Numerobis, the little dog Idefix and three Roman soldiers, together with a catapult, columns, building blocks and other pieces to recreate the scene.
Kids can line up the figures, fire the catapult at the stack of stones and invent their own stories around the palace and the Roman attack. The set combines familiar comic-strip characters with a playful action scene, making it appealing to fans of the comics and cartoons.
The set consists of 56 parts, including five figures and their accessories. The box states an age range of 5 to 99 years. The packaging carries a choking-hazard warning for small parts, so this should be kept in mind with young children.
A fun gift for Asterix and Playmobil fans who enjoy re-enacting the classic stories themselves, and a nice addition to an existing Playmobil collection.
