LEGO DUPLO Interactive Adventure Train (10427) is a building set of 57 large DUPLO pieces built around a train that moves forward on its own. The box contains a locomotive with a wagon, 14 track pieces, three buildings to construct (including a house), four figures and a dog. Along the track are tiles that make the train stop or change its sound when it rolls over them.
A child starts the train with the push-and-go function, after which it rolls on by itself along the track. Lights and sounds play as it goes, and the special tiles add small surprises during play. This way a toddler can choose a new destination for the train each time and invent their own story around it.
The set is intended for children from 2 years and runs on 4 AAA batteries, which are not included. The large DUPLO pieces fit easily in a toddler's hand and are compatible with other DUPLO sets, so the track can be extended later on.
With a moving train, light, sound and figures to play with, this makes a fun gift for toddlers who are just starting to build and use their imagination.
