LEGO Botanicals Mini Orchid (10343) is a building set from LEGO's Botanicals range that lets you build your own orchid in bloom, with five flowers, several buds and leaves for a lifelike result. The set also includes a light terracotta pot standing on a wood-effect plinth.
The building itself is the point: layer by layer you assemble the stem, flowers and buds into an orchid that never needs watering. The set comes with printed building instructions and can also be followed via the LEGO Builder app.
The set has 274 pieces and the finished model stands over 25 cm tall. This orchid is part of the Botanicals 'Four Gentlemen' series, four flower sets that each represent a season and can be collected separately or displayed together.
This is a decorative building project, not a toy for young children: it makes a nice gift for anyone who enjoys building and loves plants, and the finished result can afterwards serve as a decorative piece on a desk, shelf or windowsill.
