LEGO Botanicals Japanese Maple Bonsai Tree 10348 is a building set from the LEGO Botanicals range that lets you recreate a miniature bonsai tree yourself. The set contains 474 pieces and is intended for adults: the box states an age recommendation of 18 years and up.
You build a curved trunk and branches in beige tones, then fill them with leaf sprigs in vivid red and orange colours. The finished tree stands in a dark green plant pot on a green base, just like a real bonsai.
The built model measures approximately 24 cm high, 22 cm wide and 26 cm deep. Because it is made entirely from LEGO pieces, it never needs watering and never changes shape, unlike a real plant.
This makes it a great gift for adult LEGO fans or plant lovers looking for a decorative building project for a desk, shelf or windowsill.
