LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty (set 21042) is a building set that lets you build a detailed model of the iconic statue in New York, complete with pedestal, balconies and raised torch. The box contains over 1,685 LEGO pieces and a booklet with background information about the monument.
Building is at the heart of the experience: the model grows step by step from foundation to torch, with attention to small details such as the pedestal's brickwork and the folds of the robe. The finished model is over 44 cm tall and 14 cm wide and deep, and stands on a baseplate with a nameplate.
The box states an age of 16 years and up, matching the many small parts and longer build time. This makes the set more suitable for teens and adults than for young children.
As a finished model, it is a decorative build for a shelf or desk, and a fitting gift for anyone who enjoys building or has an interest in architecture and New York.
