LEGO Architecture Great Pyramid of Giza (set 21058) brings one of the seven wonders of the world to your display shelf in miniature. The set has 1,476 pieces and builds not just the great pyramid itself, but also the surrounding queens' pyramids, a temple, an obelisk, palm trees and two small Nile boats on the water.
The building process itself is the main part of the experience: you stack the pyramid layer by layer up to its pointed top, then work out the details around the temple and the riverbank. It isn't a play set for afterwards, but a focused building project for anyone who enjoys spending a long time on a single model.
The box states an age recommendation of 18 years and up, which matches the level of detail and the 1,476-piece count of this set.
A great gift for adult LEGO builders, fans of Egypt, or anyone who likes to put a piece of history on the shelf after building it.
