LEGO Ideas Disney Pixar Luxo Jr. is a 613-piece building set based on the desk lamp that stars in Pixar's very first short film and in the studio's logo. Alongside the lamp, you also build the iconic star ball that sits next to Luxo Jr. in the film.
The model has an adjustable arm with spring hinges, letting you pose the shade in various positions just like in the film. Building it is a big part of the fun: step by step you assemble the base, arm and shade into a poseable whole.
Built, the model stands about 29 cm high and 14 cm wide. The set has 613 pieces and is intended for builders aged 18 and up, as stated on the box.
Thanks to its sturdy, poseable shape, it makes a fun display piece for a desk or bookshelf, and a great gift for anyone who loves Pixar or LEGO Ideas sets.
