LEGO Daffodils (40747) is a building set from the LEGO Botanical Collection. It lets you build four daffodils with yellow and white petals, an orange centre, and long green stems with leaves. The set contains 216 pieces.
The building itself is the activity: step by step you assemble the petals, the centre and the stem, until you have a bunch of daffodils that can be displayed on its own or placed in a vase. Each stem grows longer than 30 cm.
The set is intended from 8 years and appeals to both children and adult LEGO fans who enjoy building flowers. Because the flowers never wilt, the result stays a lasting decorative piece on a desk, shelf or windowsill.
With its combination of building fun and a decorative end result, it makes a fitting gift for a birthday, Mother's Day or another springtime occasion.
