Mia's Wildlife Rescue (41717) is a LEGO Friends building set that lets you assemble a safari rescue centre: a building with a treatment room, a microscope and a lookout post, plus an off-road vehicle and a rocky play area with plants and a waterfall. The box contains 430 pieces, three minifigures (Dr. Makena, Joaquim and Mia) and toy figures of a zebra, a giraffe and a scorpion.
Children can act out the story of a vet: the zebra is brought in via a walkie-talkie call, examined in the treatment room and cared for, while the giraffe is fed outside and photographed with the toy camera. The building and the off-road vehicle can be combined separately with other LEGO Friends sets for extra play options.
The rectangular building is about 16 cm tall, 24 cm wide and 7 cm deep; the box itself measures 47.6 x 29 x 6.1 cm and weighs 0.76 kg. The packaging states an age recommendation from 7 years.
A fun gift for children who love building and enjoy making up stories about animal care and safari adventures.
