The LEGO Technic Audi RS Q e-tron (42160) is a 914-piece building set that lets you build a scale model of the electric rally car Audi raced in the Dakar Rally. The model features its own specially designed Technic wheel and individual suspension on each of the four wheels, just like the real car.
Once built, the car can be driven using the free LEGO Technic Control+ app from a smartphone or tablet: forward, backward and steering. During building, the LEGO Builder app helps out, letting you zoom in step by step and rotate the model in 3D.
The finished model is about 15 cm high, 37 cm long and 19 cm wide. The box states the set is for children aged 10 and up, and it requires batteries (not included) and a smartphone or tablet (not included) to use the Control+ app.
A satisfying, substantial build for children who love race cars and technology, and a great gift for young Audi or Dakar fans who already have some building experience.
