The LEGO City Arctic Explorer Ship (set 60368) is a building set for putting together a large research ship for polar exploration. The box also includes a helicopter, a dinghy, an ROV submarine and a Viking shipwreck with treasure chest, plus 7 minifigures and an orca.
The ship actually floats on water, has an opening hull and a working crane that can lower the ROV submarine down to the wreck on the seabed. The helicopter can take off from the helipad, and the dinghy is used to drop off divers to explore the wreck.
The built model is 19 cm high, 71 cm long and 17 cm wide, with 815 pieces. The set also includes accessories such as a laptop, walkie-talkie, camera, binoculars and Viking gear with a helmet, shield and axe. The box states an age recommendation of 7+.
With so many vehicles and play options in one set, this makes a great gift for a child who loves building and adventurous stories on and under the water.
