LEGO City Space Base and Rocket Launchpad 60434 is a building set from the LEGO City line featuring a space base, a rotating crane tower, a rocket with launchpad, and a rover. The set has 1,422 pieces and is intended from 8 years.
In the control room you keep an eye on the missions, while the 360° crane lifts space cargo up and down. The base folds open to reveal an equipment carousel and a science lab, so play can happen in several places at once.
Built up, the space base with crane measures roughly 33 cm high, 19 cm wide and 29 cm deep. The set includes 6 minifigures, a robot figure and 2 alien figures, plus a rocket and a rover to complete the space story.
A fun gift for kids who love building and space, and thanks to the piece count, also a challenging project for those with some building experience.
