LEGO City Central Train Station (set 60469) is a 752-piece building set that lets you construct a three-storey train station complete with a classic clock tower, a coffee bar, a working lift, a control room, a bus stop, two platforms, a timetable board and a ticket machine. The set also includes a maintenance railcar with a cherry picker that raises and lowers, 6 minifigures, a baby figure and 2 pigeon figures.
Children build the station themselves and then act out station life: picking up travellers, operating the lift, driving the maintenance railcar along the track or working behind the coffee bar. It can be played with on its own or combined with other LEGO City train sets.
Built up, the station measures about 33 cm high, 44 cm wide and 30 cm deep. The set is intended for ages 7 and up, as stated on the box.
A great gift for children who love building, trains and role play, and a nice addition to an existing LEGO City collection.
