LEGO Despicable Me 4 Brick-Built Gru and Minions (set 75582) is an 848-piece building set that creates a large, buildable Gru figure surrounded by five Minion characters: Jerry with maracas and a fruit hat, secret agent Dave with a propeller and walkie-talkie, Beedoo Minion with a megaphone, ukulele player Mel, and Kevin with his fart gun.
The Gru figure has movable arms, hands and fingers, so kids can pose him in different ways among the dancing Minions on the buildable stage. It's a build-and-display piece: put it together first, then set it out as a decoration for a room or desk.
The set is intended for children from 9 years and for fans of the Despicable Me films. Given the piece count and the level of detail on the characters, this is a building project for someone with some building experience already, or for building together with an adult.
It makes a fun gift for Minions fans and LEGO collectors: a set that can stay on display once it's built.
