LEGO Marvel Captain America: Civil War Battle (76314) recreates the airport scene from the film, featuring a Quinjet, a section of runway with barricades, and a large jointed Giant-Man figure standing over 24 cm tall. The set has 736 pieces and comes with 8 minifigures: Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Falcon, Wanda Maximoff, Black Widow, Black Panther and Winter Soldier, each with their own weapons and accessories.
The Quinjet has folding wings and an opening cockpit roof, so a different minifigure can take the controls each time. Hidden on the runway is an exploding-barrel feature that lets kids add extra drama when re-enacting the action scene.
The building fun comes both from assembling the Quinjet and the Giant-Man figure and from acting out the scene afterwards, and the building steps can also be followed digitally via the LEGO Builder app. The box states an age rating of 10 years and up.
A great gift for children who are fans of the Marvel films and of building with LEGO, and for anyone who likes having several well-known characters in one set.
