LEGO Marvel Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure (set 76316) has 427 pieces and centres on the imposing, fully poseable figure of Galactus, which stands over 28 cm tall once built. His arms, legs and head are hinged, so he can be posed in all kinds of action stances.
The set includes four Fantastic Four minifigures: Mr. Fantastic with extendable legs, Human Torch with hand blasters and flame elements on his feet, Invisible Woman (Sue Storm), and The Thing (Ben Grimm). Together they let a child act out the battle between the superhero team and their towering opponent.
Building it is an afternoon's project in itself: the detailed construction of Galactus forms the core of the set, rounded out by the four characters. For extra building fun, the LEGO Builder app can be used to follow along in 3D and track progress. The box carries an age recommendation of 9+.
This makes a great gift for fans of the Fantastic Four and Marvel building sets, both to collect and to play with. Thanks to the sizeable Galactus figure, the set is also an eye-catcher on a shelf once built.
