LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog Tails' Adventure Boat (set 76997) is a 393-piece building set based on a boat from the world of Sonic. The box includes the minifigures Sonic, Tails and Jawz, along with a beach scene featuring an arch, tree decoration and a jet ski to build.
Children build the boat themselves and can then play with the built-in speed sphere launcher at the front, the small dance floor on board, and the parasail connector at the back, which lets a figure 'glide along' behind the boat. This combines building with re-enacting stories from the games in a single playset.
The set is intended from 8 years, as stated on the box, and has 393 pieces, making it suitable for children who already have some building experience. The box also states that the model does not float, so it is a building and play set, not an actual vessel.
A fun gift for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog who enjoy building and then spending hours playing with the figures and the boat.
