LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog: Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster (set 76999) is a 590-piece building set based on the famous video game heroes. The box contains the Egg Drillster, Dr. Eggman's dangerous vehicle with a rotating drill and a dock for a detachable hover unit, plus a lab with a wall that can be smashed apart. There are three minifigures of Shadow and Dr. Eggman, joined by the smaller figures Pocky, Pecky, an Egg Pawn Badnik and the Gun Wing.
Children build the vehicle and the lab themselves and then act out the story: Shadow and Super Sonic take on Dr. Eggman, launch the speed sphere with the catapult, and break the lab wall with the vehicle or the speed sphere itself.
The set is intended for children from 8 years and contains 590 building bricks. The build can also be followed with the LEGO Builder app, which offers zoom and rotation functions.
A fun gift for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog who enjoy building and then acting out action-packed stories with their favourite characters.
