LEGO Horizon Adventures Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker & Sawtooth (set number 77037) is a building set from the LEGO Horizon Adventures line, inspired by the video game of the same name. The box states 768 pieces and an age rating of 9+. The set includes two LEGO minifigures, Aloy and Varl, each with their own weapon: a bow and a spear.
Alongside the minifigures, you build the two machine creatures Shell-Walker and Sawtooth. Both models are poseable: legs, arms and head can be moved, and they feature opening parts. Aloy's and Varl's weapons can be fitted with extra elements, letting you recreate the fire, shock or ice attacks from the game.
The box also shows a few small scenery pieces such as reed stalks, a campfire and a treasure chest, which let you build an environment for the play story. The set lends itself to roleplay around the characters and machines from the game, independent of the game itself.
With 768 pieces and two detailed minifigures, this is a building set for children from 9 years old who know the LEGO Horizon Adventures world or the underlying video game, and a fitting gift for fans of building sets with a storyline.
