The Beystadium is the playing field Beyblade X battles take place in: a green plastic bowl with sloping walls and the X-Celerator rail around the rim. There are no tops or launchers with it; you buy those separately.
That rail is what it is all about. When the gear on the underside of a Beyblade X top catches it, the top gets a push and shoots into the arena with more speed. That makes for harder collisions, and it often settles a battle in a couple of seconds.
The arena only works with tops from the Beyblade X system; the box says so in as many words. Older Beyblades therefore do not fit. The box is marked 8+ and carries a reference to the Beyblade X app with a parent symbol beside it.
Handy as a first playing field next to a starter pack or a booster, both of which come without an arena, and as a second arena for anyone who already has tops at home.
