Brother Lombast serves with the Sword Brethren of the Black Templars, and JoyToy releases him in its officially licensed Warhammer 40,000 range. The finish tells you straight away: black armour plates with red accents, a white tabard bearing the red cross, a cross-shaped banner on the back and a shield on the shoulder.
The box holds the figure itself, two pairs of swappable hands, a cape, a helmet, two chains, a sword and a pistol. The figure is poseable, so you set him in whatever stance you want, and the separate hands let you switch between the sword and the pistol without tools.
The scale is 1:18 and the material is ABS/PVC. JoyToy states an age rating from 15 years. Other figures from the same Warhammer 40,000 range are built to exactly the same scale, so you can line them up side by side in the display case.
A focused pick if you build your collection chapter by chapter, and a gift that lands with anyone already following the Black Templars.
