Under licence from Games Workshop, JoyToy makes pre-assembled, poseable figures from the Warhammer 40,000 universe at 1/18 scale. This one is an Ultramarines captain in Terminator armour: deep blue plate, a red-and-white chequered shoulder pad, a red-lined cloak, a banner on his back and 'ULTRA' on the belt plate.
The box holds the figure, a knife, a sword, a gun and a spare pair of hands. The sword carries the engraved word 'EXTERMINATUS' on the blade. The figure is ABS and PVC and comes out of the box painted and assembled, so there is nothing to build and nothing to paint.
The spare hands and the three weapons let you set him up in different ways: sword raised, knife in his fist or gun levelled. Beside other 1/18 figures from the same range he becomes the centrepiece of a small Ultramarines display on a shelf or in a cabinet.
JoyToy gives this range an age of 15 years and over. A targeted gift for a collector, or for someone who already has the Ultramarines on the table.
