The Flip-8 from the Nerf Elite 2.0 range turns on one idea: eight shots without ever changing a clip. The barrels sit back to back, four facing forward and four facing backward, and each barrel takes one dart.
You prime the blaster by pulling the handgrip down and fire one dart at a time with the trigger. When the front four are gone, you pull the sight on top backwards: the whole block of barrels turns around and the four full ones are at the front. That is quicker than reloading, and it is the kind of movement children want to repeat twenty times over.
Eight official Nerf Elite 2.0 darts are included and the blaster works without batteries. The box states from 8 years, printed alongside '8 FLIPPING BARRELS'.
A handy blaster for anyone starting out with Nerf, or a second one for the house so two can play without having to take turns.
