The Flip-16 is the smaller model in the Nerf Elite 2.0 Flipshots range. It carries sixteen barrels in two facing rows: eight at the front and eight at the back. Once you have emptied the front row, you tilt the block and carry straight on with the other eight.
Each barrel holds one dart, good for sixteen shots. A half pull on the trigger fires one dart, a full pull fires two at once. Priming is done with the slide, and the stock folds out into a sight for aiming. No batteries needed.
The box contains the blaster and sixteen official Nerf Elite darts, exactly enough to fill every barrel. The packaging states from 8 years.
A good choice if the Flip-32 looks a bit much: the same flipping trick, but easier to handle for a child who is just starting out with Nerf play in the garden.
