The cake is round, has a cream-coloured base and is decorated with a ring of cream swirls and red strawberries. It falls apart into slices and fits back together afterwards, so your child can serve, clear away and simply start over - and starting over is usually the point.
With the cake come a cake server and a cutting wheel, both with a cream-coloured handle. The box also holds two square plates, two knives, two forks and two cups of iced coffee with lids: one brown and one yellow, each with ice cubes and a straw.
It is all plastic. This is a toy for pretending: there is nothing to eat or drink, but plenty to serve. With two plates and two sets of cutlery, the set is made for sitting down two at a table - your child and a friend, or your child and you.
