Furby is back, and this version speaks Dutch. Alongside its own Furbish, the purple Furby has more than 600 phrases, songs and jokes at its disposal. It responds to a stroke on the head, to a hug, to being shaken and to your voice.
Five modes are called up with your voice: Dance Party, Copy Cat, Tell My Fortune, Let's Chill and Lights Show. Its eyes blink, its ears light up and the colours change along with whatever it is doing. It does not connect to the internet.
The box holds Furby itself, thirteen clip-on beads, a little comb, a cord and a friendship guide. The beads make accessories for Furby or for yourself, and the comb keeps its fur in shape. It runs on 4 AA batteries, which are not included. Hasbro states from 6 years.
A gift for a child who likes having something in the house that talks back. Note that it speaks Dutch, which is worth checking against the language the child is comfortable in.
