Bitzee Magicals is an interactive digital pet from Spin Master. The device sits inside a sturdy, hinged case with a small display that shows light-fibre figures rather than an ordinary LCD screen. Three AA batteries are included, so play can start right away.
A child plays with Bitzee by touching the screen, tilting the case or shaking it: the character responds each time with sound and movement. You feed your digital pet, play with it, put it to sleep and care for it, letting it grow from a baby into an adult animal and eventually into a Super Bitzee.
This edition hides 20 different Bitzee Magicals characters, including fantasy creatures such as a kittycorn, a phoenix and a yeti. Anyone who reaches a Super Bitzee can split it into one of two possible 'Splitzee' characters. The wand and collected gems unlock extra mini-games and colours.
Because every case holds a surprise, Bitzee Magicals makes a fun gift for children who love digital pets, collecting and fantasy creatures, all without needing a screen with videos or internet access.
