Punirunes by Spin Master is a small, squishy pod-shaped toy with a built-in colour screen. Press your finger into the soft, squishy button and an animation on the screen follows your touch. This is how you discover the 55 collectible Punirunes characters, including rare ones.
The fun is in the caretaking: you play with your Punirunes, prepare food, clean its room, pet and wash your character, and play minigames. With the coins you earn, you buy accessories and change the colour and layout of the room. This is how your Punirunes grows from baby to kid to adult character.
It's a compact, handheld toy that can go anywhere, with small parts. Several retail listings state it's intended from age 5; our own records list 5 to 6 years, but we haven't been able to inspect the box ourselves to confirm this.
