SmartMax My First Dinosaurs is a 14-piece magnetic building set from SmartMax's My First line, made for the youngest builders. The box contains the pieces to make five soft, rounded dinosaurs: a green brontosaurus, a red T-rex, a yellow triceratops, a blue stegosaurus and an orange pterodactyl with an egg.
The pieces have strong magnets that find the right position by themselves, so a toddler can click them together with no force needed. Children can build the five animals shown on the box, or swap body parts around to invent their own fantasy creatures.
The set is intended for children from 1 to 5 years, as stated on the packaging, and is compatible with other SmartMax sets for extended play. The round, soft shapes are specially designed for small hands still learning to grip and combine pieces.
A great first building toy for toddlers just starting to stack and click, and a fun gift for anyone who loves dinosaurs or magnetic toys.
