SmartGames Castle Logix is a wooden puzzle game in which you build your own castle: 4 coloured blocks with holes running in different directions and 3 towers of varying heights must slot together in exactly the right way to form a sturdy, freestanding castle.
For each challenge in the included booklet, you pick a card and work out which tower slides through which block, and how high each tower needs to stand. Every challenge has only one correct solution, so puzzling and trial-and-error go hand in hand.
The box contains 48 challenges, arranged across four levels from starter to master, so the game grows with the child: young children practise fine motor skills by sliding towers into blocks, while the hardest challenges will make older children and adults think too. From 3 years, for 1 player.
With four difficulty levels, this is a gift that won't be outgrown quickly: a toddler can already build and slide, while the master challenges remain a real challenge later on.
